Sofokleous Duet consists of Apostolos Livogiannis on lute and Kostis Paleoyiannis on guitar. They have been collaborating as a duet from the age of 16 combining two different worlds. Their music is a mixture of traditional, jazz, classical and world music components. In 2020 they released their first EP album “Trilogy” as a duet with 3 arrangements of traditional and Greek jazz pieces. They are both students of the University of Macedonia, in Music Science and Art department. They have appeared in various music festivals in Greece and recently performed with a string quartet for their project “topia”.
