Sophia, Lhord, Alexandros and Nikos attend a state school in one of the poorer neighborhoods of central Athens. They are overwhelmed by the burdensome course requirements and the shortcomings of the Greek educational system.
Their daily school life is suddenly put on hold as a group of students decide to take control of the building, lock the doors and prevent the running of classes. The reason for this “student occupation”, which is a common practice in Greek schools, is that they believe a classmate has been unfairly punished.
Will Sophia, Lhord side with the more popular kids who take over the school? How do they deal with the rising pressure of final exams, especially with the school lockdown?
Through powerful testimonies and scenes, over a period of two years, our characters share their intimate thoughts and experiences, offering a glimpse into their lives as they struggle to survive within an educational system that ignores their needs.
